Safety Guide
Your safety is our priority. Learn how to detect gas leaks and what to do in an emergency.
How to Detect a Gas Leak
Smell
LPG has a distinctive odor — like rotten eggs or garlic. If you notice this smell, there may be a leak.
Sound
Listen for a hissing sound near the cylinder, regulator, or hose connections.
Visual
Look for frost or condensation on the cylinder surface — this can indicate a gas leak.
Emergency Steps
Do NOT light any matches, candles, or switch on/off electrical appliances.
Immediately turn off the regulator knob on the cylinder to stop gas flow.
Open all doors and windows to ventilate the area.
Move everyone away from the area — do not stay in the kitchen.
Call the emergency helpline or your gas dealer immediately.
Safety Tips
- Always keep the cylinder in an upright, well-ventilated position.
- Check hoses regularly for cracks or wear — replace every 3 years.
- Use a tested and certified pressure regulator.
- Turn off the regulator knob after every use.
- Keep the cylinder away from direct heat sources and sunlight.
- Never attempt to repair a cylinder or regulator yourself.
